Obituary of Lucille Cantley

Lucille Craddock Cantley, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at her residence. She was a native of McConnell West Virginia. Lucille was a member of McConnell Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and also taught Sunday School. For the last fifteen years she was a member, Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School teacher at Dallas Bay Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert K. and Mary Johnson Craddock; sister, Lawanna Creger; and brother, Robert K. Craddock, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Paul Cantley; son, Michael Cantley of Soddy-Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dwight Taylor of New Braunfels, TX; sister, LuAnn Bradshaw of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jason Taylor and Alyssa Taylor, both of New Braunfels, TX. Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Dwight Taylor, Jason Taylor, Clift Beaty, Thurston Cooke, Ed Leeson and Mack Tipps will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
