William Victor Stewart, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, a loving husband, father and WWII Veteran went home to be with his heavenly father on October 18, 2007. He was a member of Middle Valley Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ashley and Sara Davis Stewart; sister, Marie Frederick; grandson, Jeremy Donohoo; He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce Stewart; daughters and son-in-laws, Judy and Don Gibson of Hixson, Becky and Eddie Flowers of Cleveland and Sandy and Sammy Ramsey of Cleveland; sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry and Tammy Stewart of Cleveland and Jerry and Francis Stewart of Cleveland; sister, Margie Ingle of Hixson; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
