Bob, you meant so much to me. You taught me so much in so many ways during the time we had together. I'm so sorry that I didn't come and see you during those last couple of days, but I hope that you understand why. I know you do. I just wanted to hang on to the good memories that I have of you. You were my buddy when I came to see you. I just enjoyed sitting beside you and having our talks about stuff. Watching the races with you and talking about all the new technology coming out. Going to Bristol to see the Christmas lights, to Atlanta to watch Bobby race his bike, coming to Summerville to take that train ride up to La Fayette and back. I just can't say enough here. I hope that I made you proud for your daughter for saying yes to me in marriage. She is such a great person and I thank you for raising her in the way that you did. I love Pam and we will take care of her I promise. I will always be thankful for the memories I have of you and me just hangin out together. You are one of my best friends but I never got to tell you that. Well goodnight for now but not goodbye my friend. We will see each other again someday, I promise. Rest in peace Bob Ludlum. 2007

One of the true blessings of having a career requiring travel throughout the country is meeting a friend like Bob. My first memory of Bob is a man so dedicated that he worked the entire 10 to 12 hour day even to the point of eating lunch at his desk. I remember telling Bob that, if he wanted to continue working with me, he had to get out of the building and stretch his legs at least three times a day. Bob was always a superior teammate, and during his illness even flew to Maryland to help me complete a difficult assignment that I couldn't have handled without him. When Bob was fighting for his own health, his thoughts were on my well being. Bob was a friend in every sense of the word. So long Bob. My life is better for having known you.

As a co-worker and friend of Michelle, please accept my sincere sympathy in your time of loss. Michelle's parents raised a very special little girl into a fine woman. I know Mr. Ludlum was proud.

Michelle and family, I send you my Love and Prayers. It is so very hard to be absent from a parent. I think all "little girls" are "Daddy's girls". There is such a sweet bond between them. The parting of this life to everlasting life is so very tough, even though you realize that he is in a far better place. I am available if you need an ear, a shoulder or a hug. You have always been great to lend me yours.
