Obituary of Vada Pippin

Vada Pippin, 71, of Hixson passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 in a local health care facility. She was a member of Hixson Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a long time switchboard operator for Memorial Hospital and served at Senior Neighbors as a receptionist and switchboard operator for a number of years.
She is survived by her son, Ernest (Vickie) Pippin II of Hixson; sisters, Betty Waldron of Portland, OR; and Mary Waldron of Oahu, HI: granddaughter, Makayla Pippin of Hixson;
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Bresee officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hamilton Community Church, 7997 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421
