Floyd Junnie Franklin, 66, of Hixson passed away, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at his residence. He was of Christian faith and a retired electrician from Local #606 I.B.E.W. in Orlando, Florida. Floyd was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Nita Franklin of Hixson; sons, Jess M. Franklin of Raleigh, NC; step-son, Joseph F. Patton of Villa Rica, GA; daughters, Laurie Kai of New York, NY; step-daughter, Jami A.D. Cannon of Hixson; sister, Linda Hucks of Jacksonville, Fl and Eleven Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
