Obituary of Lola Mae Bloodsworth

Lola Mae Blanks Bloodsworth, age 70, of Lupton City went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, July 16, 2007.She was of the Church of God faith. Lola Mae was born on August 18, 1936 in the town of Piedmont, Alabama to the late James and Carrie Blanks. She graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School. Lola was preceded in death by her son, Benny Allen Dodd. She is survived by her sons, Danny Bloodsworth of Chattanooga and Paul Bloodsworth of Spring City; daughters, Pauline Bloodsworth of Chattanooga and Beth Shoates of Hixson; sisters, Mickey Reno and Linda Cordell both of Hixson and Shirley Bethune of GA; brothers, Bennie Blanks of AL; Jimmy Blanks and Freddie Blanks both of Hixson; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 18, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wilburn Reno officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM today, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the funeral home.
