Alma 'MeMe' Reed Wolff, 68, of Hixson passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Wolff has lived here her entire life and was a 1956 graduate of Central High School. She retired from Simco Leather Company after 33 years of service and was member of Eastwood Baptist Church. The most important part of her life was her family, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Wolff was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Wolff; parents, John Henry and Flossie Reed, sister, Betty Walker and grandson, Cory Gunter. She is survived by her son, Marcus Eugene (Lisa) Wolff of Hixson; daughter, Tina Gunter (Robert Freeman, Jr.) of Red Bank; sister, Barbara Sherman of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Kelly (Travis) Denham, of Soddy-Daisy; Matthew Gunter and Nathan Gunter, both of Red Bank; Jarrelle Wolff, Jarrod Wolff, Katherine Tate and Olivia Tate, all of Hixson; Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 12, 2007 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joel Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 today, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 and from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
