Obituary of Lee Roy Maples

Master Sergeant Lee Roy Maples, 80, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at his residence. He retired from the United States Air Force after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rynes Maples of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Steven (MariDean) Maples of Lancaster, SC; daughters, Donna Maples (Dayne) Huckabee of Austin, TX; Linda Maples (Michael) Bradley of Soddy-Daisy; special niece, Cathy Pass of Knoxville, TN; special friend, Heather McMahan of Knoxville, TN; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment with full military honors will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4413 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
