Obituary of James Clifford Mears

James Clifford Mears, Sr., 75, of Graysville, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007 at his residence. He retired from Burton Lumber Company and also worked at Valley Brook Golf and Country Club for many years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Marie Maye. He is survived by his wife, Annie Mears of Graysville; sons, James Clifford, Jr. of Dayton, Randy Laburn of Coleman, Fl, Charles Alvin of Chattanooga, and Matthew Wayne of Graysville; daughters, Mary Evelyn Sneed and Patricia Ann Sneed, both of Graysville; 24 Grandchildren and 35 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Shadwick Cemetery.
