Master Sergeant Bernard Braggs U.S. Army retired, 64 of Chattanooga passed away December 30, 2006 at his residence. He was born on April 15, 1942 in Helena, Arkansas. Master Sergeant Braggs retired from the United States Army after 23 years of service and was food service manager at Silverdale Detention Facility retiring there after 12 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Jacqueline Brooks of Coppers Cove, TX and Lindsay Braggs of Nashville, TN; sister, Lula of Chattanooga; special friend, Nina Williams of Nashville, TN; a niece, a nephew and many friends.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 10:30 AM Monday, January 8, 2007 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. James Powell officiating.
