Obituary of Myrtle C. Newman

Myrtle C. Newman of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 at a local hospital. Mrs. Newman was born in Morgan County, TN and was a daughter of the late Tommy Adams and Maggie Branstetter Adams. She was a member of Green Pond Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Newman, Sr.; son, Paul Newman, Jr., daughter, Betty R. Burns and grandson, Paul H. Newman.
She is survived by sons, Billy R. Newman of Bridgeport, Al and Roger D. Newman of Altamont, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Highpoint Baptist Church in Morgan County, TN. Interment will follow in Highpoint Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Wednesday at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 11:00 until the time of the service at Highpoint Baptist Church in Morgan County, TN. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 (423) 843-2525.
