Obituary of Helen Morgan

Helen Morgan, 84 of Hixson, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 at a local hospital. Mrs. Morgan was born in Chattanoooga and lived here most of her life, raising her family in the Big Ridge area. She lived in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for 26 years before recently moving back to Hixson to be near family. She was a veteran of the Army serving during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband, F. Tyler Morgan. She is survived by sons, Tyler Morgan, Jr., Winston-Salem, NC, William P. Morgan, James W. Morgan, both of Chattanooga, Robin Morgan, Hixson; daughter, Mary Gill Morgan, Hixson; sisters, Sally Woods, Tampa, Florida, Ethel Thomas, Apopka, Florida and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Bethel Temple Assembly of God with Pastor Jeff Ogg officiating.
