Minnie Vee Altman, 81, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in an area hospital. Mrs. Altman lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 47 years and returned to live in Hixson two years ago. She attended the Valleybrook neighborhood Bible study. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Altman, Parents, George and Mamie Fine, Grandson, Alex Fisher, Brother, George Fine.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Fisher Jackson, of Hixson; Son, Michael Ray Fisher of Houston, Texas; Sisters, Eula "Tommie” Colburn of Chattanooga; Granddaughter,
Sy-Donna Jackson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Niece, Frances Hays of Hixson; Grandnephew, David Roberson of Dunlap; Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Ogg and Mary Reed Roy officiating.
