Darra Carter Sullivan, 85, of Soddy Daisy passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014. She lived most of her life in Memphis before moving to the area in 2000 with her late husband of sixty years, Kenneth Joe Sullivan. Darra was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church where she was very active. During her life she enjoyed working in the PTA and had a green thumb that was reflected in her gardening. The greatest joy in her life was her family, especially when they were all together. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki (Sam) Armour, Lakesite, Kay (Ron) Rolen, Atlanta; granddaughters, Kimberly (Eric) Anderson, Kristin (Sam) Loving, Joe (Pam) Walker; and great grandchildren, Colin, Grace, Jack, Ryan, Ross, McCall, Evan, and Sarah Cate. Services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David McNabb officiating. Inurnment will be in the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy (423) 843-2525.
