Obituary of Wayne Alton Lovelady

Wayne Alton Lovelady Sr., of Soddy Daisy, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 in a local hospital. He was a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He retired from Wheland Foundry after twenty five years. He was preceded in death by his father, J. E. Lovelady and stepfather, Walter W. Blancett. He is survived by son, Wayne Alton (Patti) Lovelady Jr of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Lynda Darlene (Brian) Lee of Soddy Daisy; mother, Dorine Blancett of Hixson; friend and former wife, Lynda Faye Lovelady of Soddy Daisy; brother, James Farris Lovelady of Hixson; sister, Brenda Faye Lovelady of Hixson; grandson, Zachery R. Lovelady of Soddy Daisy; granddaughter, Angela Briann Lee of Soddy Daisy. Funeral service will be in the chapel of funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 19, 2006 with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-9 Sunday at the funeral home.
