Jim was a kind man who cared about the people in his life. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Knowing Jim and Kelly for the past 12 years no matter how tough the times or how difficult a place Jim was in, he always had a smile on his face and a kind word. Years ago when still a chip route man, my daughter(about 6 years old) was with me, he went to his truck and brought out several bags of chips asking her which one she like , then with a smile he said, oh take them you might find out you like them. My daughter was so excited because he gave her some chips. It was just his nature to be kind and generous to those who knew him. The last few years had been really tough but when seeing Jim he would give me a smile and inquiry about how my life was going never really dwelling on his troubles. He would always say he was doing better and he was trying to get stronger. He tried to be positive and upbeat to the end. Jim will be missed by all his family and friends but what peace and joy he has in heaven, I think he still is smiling on us now.
