Obituary of Nancy Rae Seagroves

Nancy Rae Darby Seagroves, 74, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at a local hospital. Nancy graduated from Central High School and pursued a career in x-ray technology. She committed her life to encouraging others, demonstrating God's love and sharing her time helping children's and women's ministries in her church and community. She was a beloved and devoted wife; she is survived by her husband Jim of 51 years. A loving and supportive mother to daughters Alisa Stipanov (Mike) and Valarie Miller (Chad). A kind and generous Nana who effortlessly loved her grandchildren Benjamin, Nicholas, Anna Kate, Sydney, and Jetty., her father Jettie R. Darby and siblings Carol Darby (Ft. Davis, TX)and Ron Darby (Dunlap, TN) nephews Bill Kelley, Carlton Darby and niece Kristen Coverly (Derek). Spending time with family brought her great joy. She is preceded in death by her mother Norma Darby and sister Peggy Kesterson. The family will receive friends at Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 4 P.M. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to Children's Services at Grace Pointe.
