Lovingly known as Gmaw, Joyce was a very strong, inspirational beautiful soul. She was a gmaw to me although no blood relation. She treated me, and my sister no different than the others, and we loved her dearly. She had many grandchildren. She never let any one go hungry, and you were always made welcome in her home, but would not advise making her mad, because she would tell you like it is in a second flat. I loved and respected her so much for that. She was a very honest woman. She would always bring a smile to anyone's face no matter what was on their mind. She truly cared for others, and it showed and that is hard to come by these days. The world lost an amazing woman. The heavens reclaimed their beautiful angel sent to earth as a blessing to anyone who was lucky enough to know her. Gmaw, I will never forget everything you have done for me. I miss you so much. I pray that comfort is brought to the rest of her family. Y'all know I love y'all so much. With much love, Penny.

I have set and watched my father for last few days endure more pain in his eyes and tears on his face then I have seen in my 42 years of my life and knowing that the hurt he has I can do nothing to stop it but to go threw it together he lost the one person that has been a blessing to him and so many more of us brothers sisters and grandchildren friends and family she may be gone but never forgotten memories will always keep her neer our hearts and now we all have a special angel to always watch over us Joyce my father loves you and I love you and will always remember you
