Wanda Geraldine Poteet, 69, of Soddy Daisy left her earthly home to meet her Lord and Savior on December 22, 2017 after a fierce battle with lung cancer. She was born in Soddy Daisy, TN on February 4, 1948 to Mary and Virgil Sneed and attended Soddy Daisy High School. Wanda was admired for her resilience through adversity, generosity, selflessness, and devotion to her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was adored by those around her. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Routt; father, Virgil Sneed; husband and father of her children, Charlie M. Poteet Sr. She is survived by her children, Charlie M. Poteet Jr. and Annette Zaragosa (David Cortez); grandchildren, Caitlin Zaragosa, Rebecka Poteet, and Jovani Cortez; siblings, Dewayne Sneed, Patty (Gary) Graham, and 2 others. Donations can be made to the American Lung Association in honor of her life and legacy.
