I let out a gasp as I saw the obituary of Glenn today and then a tear came into my eye. Glenn was one of my heroes. My family and I attended the Ministry Center for years. I had the privilege of taking Glenn and Richard Massengale (another WWII vet) to the Tivoli for the premiere of Ken Burns "The War". As a public school history teacher and a son of a World War II vet, what an experience! I'll never forget it. Glenn and Richard were father figures for me. I truly enjoyed talking with both of them about the war, something I couldn't do with my own father (who died in 1987). I had the privilege of interviewing and writing up Glenn's story for Wildcat Magazine. What a man, what a hero. I will miss him dearly. God bless another of the passing of one of the heroes of the Greatest Generation! Randy Young
