Betty was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She was a great friend and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed, but I know she is at peace now. I will always remember her smiling face, her great big hugs, her compassion, her strong work ethic, her listening ear, her lead foot (I always teased her about her speeding and told her to behave when she left work while watching her smirk and giggle), and her willingness to always help anyone. I had the privilege of knowing her as a co-worker (where she always brought me Little Debbies to snack on), a neighbor, and most importantly a friend whom I loved dearly. I will miss our many conversations most, we always had plenty to talk about. She was truly an angel on Earth. She loved God, her family, friends, all the people at Daisy Head Start where she volunteered, and her co-church members with all she had. There will never be another like her!
