Obituary of Gisela Maria Topolski

Gisela “Gigi” Maria Pohle Topolski, 80, of LaFayette, GA, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She loved animals, volunteering for injured veterans, crocheting and her granddaughter dearly.
Her survivors include her granddaughter, Rebecca Stacks.
Gigi was born on August 17, 1936 in Germany and in the early 1970’s, she made America her home. She received two Master’s Degrees in Environmental Science and worked diligently to promote and protect the environment at Will County Illinois for many years. After leaving Illinois, she spent the latter part of her career training associates at K-Mart before retiring from there.
At her request, there will be no services held.
