I didn't know Mr Carson personally but heard a lot of great family stories from working with his son, Kit Every summer Kit would talk about how the sons, daughters, spouses, and grandchildren would all gather back up home to see Mom, Dad, and Pat. He bragged on the sister who looked in on the three of them. Great examples for this day and age for all families in staying close to and caring for our parents/grandparents. I didn't know E.B. personally but I know his wonderful granddaughter, Sarah. I can tell how great of a family man he was and how loved he was and how loved he made people feel. A great life lived fully and a great example to those around him. Rest in sweet peace!! -Kate McDonnell
Kay and I are sad to hear of the passing of E.B. We worked with E.B. in Chattanooga when he was the Claims Manager and I was a Claims Supervisor. He was one of the brightest, knowledgeable and sincere individuals I have ever met. He was a very devoted family man, that had the ability to juggle business and his personal life with little problems. Even thou we have not had contact with him in many a year he will always be in our memory. RIP. Sam and Kay McKenzie
I am sad to see EB passed away. I remember him fondly as the head of the Liberty Mutual claims office in Chattanooga for many years. He was truly a gentleman, very knowledgeable and a genuine person. I will miss him as I know his family will also. RIP EB. Rick Marcus
Memories of E.B. (And Liza) are so varied and many. He was a man of honesty and integrity. As my first boss, he always encouraged me to do my very best. He believed there was no job a woman could not do and excel at. HIs humor was such a perfect example of how he looked at life. I am not sure I ever saw him discouraged. I can still see him yank his belt up as he got into a good story, and he had plenty of them. How lucky to have him as my boss and mentor. Much sympathy to all his family for the loss of this sweet man.
