I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing someone we love brings so much pain. It is comforting to know that God understands our pain. He gives us such a wonderful hope at John 5:28,29 where we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again. And at Revelation 21:3,4 we have the wonderful prospect of living in a world free of sickness, sorrow, and death. I know it doesn't take away the pain you are feeling at this time, but God's word can provide so much comfort and give us a wonderful hope for the future.

I met Jim when his grandsons dad passed away a few years ago. I could see in his contanice how much he loves his family and that he was acorner stone of faith and strength. Jim and Helen have their Children the foundation for a good life , they taught them about GOD. Later my husband and I had the pleasure of being neighbors and attending church with Jim and Helen. He mowed our yard after my husband had a serious wreck, he was there whenever he was needed, only with Jim he saw and offered before you had to ask. Seeing him him in his yard taking care of his Blue Corvette will be missed because of a wave and a smile that could make give a day a happier start. Till we meet again in the presence of JESUS. So many happy memories of spending time at the bank property with family, and my Uncle Jim was always drinking coffee. May God fill the void and ache in your hearts as only He can. We are praying for all of you, and that God will give you all strength, grace, and comfort so that your happy memories will sustain you on your worst days. Love, hugs, and prayers. Kim & family, our deepest sympathy for your loss. I know what this loss feels like. A piece of your heart is missing that can't be replaced. My memories of Jim were when I would spent the night with Kim as a child. He was always cutting up with us and we got to drink coke for breakfast! I pray that you can all find peace and comfort in knowing that Jim is enjoying his time with the Lord now. With much love ❤️ Pam & Jeff Glass

There are three things that I remember about Jim that I will never forget. First was his love for singing. When he use to come to the church I attend (Grace Baptist in South Pittsburg) he would get up front and sing "Why me Lord". He was nervous but he was giving God the praise rather than man. Secondly, one Sunday morning Jim walked in church and without hesitation asked me and a few others to go to the alter with him and pray. Church hadn't even started yet, but he had a burden and wanted to tell God. The third memory I have of Jim was when he use to come thru the church doors and say "heeeeeey" and raise his thumbs. Prayers to the family. I love you!
