When we first moved to Soddy Daisy, Lou and Sue were such great friends to us, we must has spent at least 5 summers together at the ball field. First at Soddy Daisy, then we moved up to the downtown parks, they treated us like family, Gerry and Alana were also there, that was such great times, and Lou was always such a gentleman. We will never forget him! Stephanie, Gerry, Alana, and family you will be in our hearts and prayers. He was a great man! Lou, rest in peace. Love, Larry and Nancy Nave

I remember as a teenager of thirteen when i first started playing mens league softball with Lou and all the "old men". Guys like Charlie Green, " Baggy Joe" Burroughs, Jr. Gann, Danny Penny, Jackie Penny, and all the other guys that played on " THE ORIGINAL ARROW PHARMACY" TEAM. Those are some of the best memories a youngster like me could ever have- being able to play along side those guys and be treated as an equal despite the age difference. Lou was one of the most kind and gentle "Giants" i ever had the honor to call my true friend. God bless you as you have blessed those around you while you were here on earth with us ! This young man was always kind to me. He worked with my brother on a swing shift at a local plant. In the afternoons he would be in the "old" gym at Soddy-Daisy High School. He played as an "old man", yet us youngsters loved his run and shoot attitude. I shall never forget him. Peace, Lyndell. If the 3 point line was inplay back then....he would have been a force to contend with at any level.
