I first met Tom back in 2013 at Rivermont Park in Lupton City. We both loved to go there and sit by the water and listen to music or just talk about anything. The day i met him, i was parked by the water and he just drove up next to me and introduced himself. After i said "hello" back, i dont think i got another word in for the next 10 minutes. He was so talkative and so full of spirit. Over time, we became great friends and spent so many days at the river talking and laughing. One day at his house, i found 50 dollars in his yard that he had dropped without realizing. I picked it up and gave it to him. He just looked at me.. stunned that i gave it to him instead of putting it in my pocket and saying nothing. I think that really solidified our friendship. He knew without a doubt that i was a trustworthy friend and i knew the same about him. We were so close and we both were there for each other without question whenever times got hard. In the short time i was lucky enough to know him, he became the absolute best friend i ever had. He was truly a great man and i dearly loved him. He became a tremendous part of my life. His passing has devastated me greatly to the point i can barely function. Words cannot describe how much i miss him. Whenever i go back to the river, i always expect to see him there..parked in his favorite spot and I have to force myself to face the fact that i'll never see him there again. I share greatly in the grief of his family and i wish to express to all of you my absolute DEEPEST sympathy. I will never know a better man or have a better friend than Tom.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one, Tommy. May you find comfort in the words written at John 6:40, where God promises to bring back to life those we have lost in death by means of a resurrection. In the future He will also do away with our enemy, death. (Isaiah 25:8) This gives us the wonderful hope of being reunited with our loved ones, forever. Until then, I hope the memories of Tommy and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.
