Ricky was absolutely one of my most favorite people! I am in shock as I am sure you all are. Brittany, you and your child were his world! I will miss this man so. Praying for you all. He hadn't called in a few days, and I was just going to check on him today when I saw the post on FB. R.I.P. my dear, dear friend!

Ricky was a funny and friendly neighbor, who we were pleased to know. Every time we worked in the yard, Ricky would 'holler' over and make our work a bit more enjoyable with his humorous remarks. Although we'd not known him long, he seemed to have lots of long time friends keeping up with him, demonstrating a loyalty we would have been happy to share for a long time. We will miss him. Rick Fulghum (we called him "Little Rick" in the neighborhood) was my next-door neighbor when I was very young, in Cubine Subdivision, Flintstone, Ga. He was my friend, playmate and, I believe, the first boy I ever kissed! Though young at the time, I remember being so sad when the Fulghums moved away. I later befriended a couple who knew Rick and I kept up with him a bit through them. I celebrate his life with you, the family.
