Obituary of Stroud Mckinney Thomison

Stroud Mckinney Thomison, age 58, died on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He lived in Marietta and was a native of Lookout Mtn., TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Locke and Mary Anna Mckinney Thomison, of Lookout Mtn. Stroud attended Baylor School and City High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Drama at the University of Texas, Austin. He was employed by the US Department of Treasury, Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his wife, Nora B. Thomison, sisters Kathleen T. Kimsey and Greer Thomison, nieces Anna K. Edwards and Greer Kimsey and his beloved dog Jack. Services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 noon at Forest Hills Cemetery.
