Obituary of Victor Louis Accurso

Vic Accurso, Sr., 72 of Sale Creek passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence. Vic had been a firefighter for over 54 years which included time with FDNY, Lieutenant with South Farmingdale New York Fire Department, Mastic Beach New York Fire Department, Lieutenant and Captain with Roscoe/Rockland New York Fire Department, West Manatee Florida Fire and Rescue, Dallas Bay, Sequoyah, and Sale Creek Fire Departments and also served on the Hamilton County Fire Investigation Task Force. He was also a United States Coast Guard veteran. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Diane Jaeger Accurso, Sale Creek; son, Vic (Christina) Accurso, Jr., Myakka City, FL; brother, Richard Accurso. New Jersey; six grandsons, two granddaughters, and two great granddaughters. Services will be at 3 P. M. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Sale Creek Fire Headquarters, 14828 Dayton Pike, Sale Creek, TN 37373. The family will receive friends from 1 - 3 P. M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Sale Creek Fire Headquarters. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Sale Creek Fire Department, 14828 Dayton Pike, Sale Creek, TN 37373.
