Jim McClure, Wilmington, North Carolina I worked with Bud back in the late 50's, he with Lucy Boiler and I with Tennessee Products as a young design engineer. Together we designed and built a"few" tank trailers, vessels, etc. Always, I found Bud to be understanding, eager to solve problems and a true gentleman. Although I have not seen Bud in many years, I considered him to be a true friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I just found out about Bud passing. I had cut his hair for many years. It was a joy having him as a loyal client. At Christmas he always gave each girl in the shop a generous Christmas tip. I live behind him on S. Seminole. We would always talk about the neighborhood and where he had just eat lunch. I will miss him dearly. My thought and prayers are with you all. I worked for Bud back in the middle seventies. He hired me as a young college grad with a couple of years experience in the appliance industry. He hired me as their Purchasing Agent and allowed me the lead way to do whatever was needed to get the job done. He was always supportive and took great joy in teaching me other aspects of the metal fabrication industry. He had a good heart and I am proud to call him my friend and mentor. In recent years, we would run into each other at T-Bones at lunch time. I always enjoyed speaking to him and catching up. About a year and a half ago Tyler Freeman, another former employee and friend, and I took Bud out to lunch at J. Alexander's and had a great time discussing the old days at Lucey Boiler. I will greatly miss him.

Mr. Bud. One of a kind and the finest kind. A true Southern Gentleman. I will miss his laugh and his stories and his good cigars. Mr. Bud was also a true and loyal friend to my Dad. Mrs. Troxler, Steve and Craig, please except my deepest sympathy. Heaven has gained a great man. Love and Regards, Steve Klaesius
