Obituary of Oscar Conner

Oscar Conner, 74, of Hixson passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 in an area hospital. He was a loving father and grandfather who loved his family with all of his heart. Mr. Conner retired from BASF after many years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy LeVan Conner; parents; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his son, Scott Conner of Chattanooga; daughter, Jamie Allison of Hixson; special granddaughter, Julia Hope Conner; four brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Harold Knowles officiating.
