Blake Christian Turner, age 29, passed away on Tuesday, November 19th, surrounded by his loving family. Blake’s joyful spirit and unique passions left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Blake had a deep love for Barney, adored swinging and playing with Mardi Gras beads, and found joy in car rides. A graduate of Orange Grove Center, he embraced life’s simple pleasures—whether it was swimming in his childhood, people watching, or indulging in junk food, especially his favorite treats like ice cream and milkshakes. Blake is survived by his mother, Jane Coker Turner; father, Alan Turner, and his wife, Charlotte; his brothers, Ryan Turner and TJ Turner; and his grandparents, George and Ruth Turner. He is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Max Coker and Ruby Coker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 22nd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, where all are invited to share memories and celebrate Blake’s life.
