My late wife Sandy and I were attending to New Salem Baptist Church and after she went to be with Jesus I was convicted to returned to North Red Bank Baptist Church. The first Sunday at the meet and greet part of the Service I was going around meeting everyone, including the ones I knew from times past when my late wife and I attended North Red Bank Baptist Church. I went up to Ron and Pam and I noticed that he was wearing a 101st Airborne pin. And I said “Welcome Home Brother and he returned the Greeting. I said to him I love you brother as we hugged one another. We talked about the units we were in and what we did, we had so much in common. Our bond started at that moment.
Every time we were at Church and had meet and greet, we always hugged and tell each other “I love you Brother”. Sometimes he would have to tell me a funny story or joke and we would just laugh and laugh. Martha Rons cousin would have to tell me that it's time to sit down because it was time for the service was about to start. Every time I go to church, I will miss our greetings so I will Say this; I will See you on the other side Brother.
To my sister Pam and her Family my condolences goes out to you, and I love you all.
