Obituary of Ronald "Ron" D. Richardson

Ronald “Ron” D. Richardson, a proud Marine Corps veteran, passed away on Sunday, June 9th, returning home to be with the Lord. Born in Winchester, TN, and raised in Chattanooga, Ron dedicated his life to serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he found joy in painting, gardening, and honing the many trades he mastered over the years. Ron was preceded in death by his two sisters, Bobbi Garner and Jean Henson. He is survived by his siblings, Estill Richardson, Charolette Greene, Glinda Webb, and Linda Lusk. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Sally, their children, Lisa Fuller, Cindy Godsey, Dana Hogsett, Stacey Raulston, and Ronald Kevin Richardson, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Ron's legacy of love, service, and dedication will be cherished by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, June 27th in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Phil Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral. Military honors will be observed. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
