When I lost my own father, Mark stepped in! He didn't say a lot, I actually didn't see him much, but when I was having a rough go of it, all I had to do was send a prayer emoji and knew he'd go at it on my behalf, and sure enough things would get better. I'm really going to miss him!!!

I am old and don’t remember as well as I used too but I remember my times with Mark. He called me one night and told me that he had been trailing a deer on Prentice Cooper and was bitten by a copperhead (the snake probably died). We went to the Whitwell hospital ( that’s how long ago it has been). The Dr told me and Mark to sit down as it might be a dry bite. Mark did NOT take this well. After an hour or so he came in and told Mark to clean the bite thoroughly and to have a good night. He did not take this gracefully either. I will miss you my friend.

I love you so much Lauren and your family has always been like a second family to me, your parents making me feel welcome and your dad always checking in when I would see him to ask how I was doing. Your house was like a second home growing up and I'll always cherish those memories and feeling like a fourth daughter when I was there.
