Paul Herman Swenson, Jr., 89, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Paul was born in Harrisburg, Pa., the son of the late Paul “Dutch” and Mildred Michael Swenson. Paul was an avid bowler and loved to play card games. He enjoyed spending time with his family and lifting the spirits of those around him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Jeanette Brown Swenson, mother of Bret and Karen, and Nora Cruikshank Swenson. He is survived by his son, Bret (Cheryl) Swenson of Chattanooga, and his daughter, Karen (Webb) Tallon of Chattanooga, his granddaughter, Caroline Swenson of Seattle, WA and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Per his request, there will be no visitation or funeral services.
