Obituary of Glenda June Bice

Glenda Bice Glenda June Bice, 71, of Dunlap, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 20, 2024. Glenda dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a nurse and for TVA. She was an exceptional mother, devoted 100% to her children. Her love extended to her dogs, cats, grandchildren, and children, in that order. As a committed member of the Daisy Woman’s Club and a devout Christian, Glenda had a deep faith and a strong relationship with God. She was known for her loving and caring nature, always inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. She is survived by her children, Laura (Tiffany) Sizemore of Dunlap, Jonathan (Cessa) Peterson of Soddy-Daisy, and Kimberly (Jeff) Iley of Soddy-Daisy; her brother, Van “Danny” Smith of Soddy-Daisy; her sister, Pharon Spatafore of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Steven, Alan, Wade, Aaron, and Carter; granddaughter, Mary and her son Brody; adopted daughter, Alicia Bowers and her children, Macie and Mavrik. Graveside services and interment will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday, May 29, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, prior to the service.
