Sending loving prayers for the family. There are no words to make the pain go away. Hold all your happy memories close. Maybe in your saddest moments you can recall a happy memory that made you all happy, and I pray that the happy memories will guide you through the sad times.

Dear Family of Bill Green. Our hearts are hurting for you during this time of grief. We know that God knows best but being human we just want Bill to be here with us. We pray that God comforts you during this time as only HE can. Watching TV yesterday this quote came on and it is so fitting to us all. "“Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there.” Hold fast to your faith and love each other. It is something you may not ever get over, but with God's help you will get through. God bless you all. Joe and Lori Reed

Bill was so much fun to be around. When Bill showed up it was party time. He loved to cook. His famous macaroni and cheese was the best. He used several different kind of cheeses. His whole family adored him. He made friends easily and was well liked by all our neighbors. We will miss this sweet guy and are grieving along with his wife and children over his home going. I say home going because I am certain he is in heaven with Jesus and his loved ones that were there to greet him.

Billy as I met and always knew him. was my friend and best friend in this world. We met when he moved right next door to me when I was around 6 or 7. I was playing in the my yard between our houses when he walked up and said Hi you wanna play. after that day
we were buddies and did everything together. the mischief and adventures we got into over the next few decades are filled with first times of doing so many things together along with a close knit group of buddies we made memories, cracked jokes, had one heck of a good time. from the times we would all go to the rock mazes on Soddy Mnt and have the time of our lives, or climbing the Huge tower nearly 250 ft tall next to the Nuclear power plant with a polaroid camera just to get the right shot.
so many things we experienced together as Buddies
his favorite band was 311 and always had it playing
so many laughs as he was always quick to make everyone laugh weather it was him doing funny impressions or grabbing a guitar and making up a hilarious song about anything on the spot while we were camping or just hanging out. always came with a huge smile and was the best friend a scrawny little redhead could have asked for. My memory of Billy will never fade and I cherish every moment we made together, Rest easy buddy I'll see ya again one day . Love ya always brother

The memories I will cherish for a lifetime, we went to high school together , as that's where I was privileged to meet and call Bill, my friend! We continued and remained friends throughout my early and mid 20s. He wound up taking his vacation time at work and said " Let's go to Florida?" and I responded with " I'm in!". That idea was pondered on for several minutes and I came back with " Let's go to California?!" and Bill replied with " LET'S DO IT!!". And that was the beginning of an Adventure of a Lifetime!! One I will NEVER forget, an Never could even if I tried... So we left out around midnight that evening with a Red Food bag with some clothes in it and I sold my Firebird for $200. I believe it was enough to get us there, and we drove straight there and put our feet in the sand at Newport Beach 28hrs after leaving Chattanooga! That was a ride to remember I tell ya, and we met up with my Dad later that morning. We did some sightseeing, we drove up to the HOLLYWOOD sign and whatever else we could cram into a spur of the moment vacation in Cali!! On our way home we detoured through Vegas and tried to get into the MGM Grand, but No luck as Tyson was fighting that night!! So we headed towards the Grand Canyon and cut through the Petrified Forrest. We made it to the North Rim and camped out under the stars with a guy that had been trekking the canyon for the past month! Interesting fellow to say the least! We drove through Texas the next day and came across a Native American that had a flat tire on his Harley, so we loaded up his hog in the bed of Bill's black Nissan hardbody and did our good deed of the day as we came through a True Texas size Flash flood Thunder storm!!! By this time we are both out of money and are in Little Rock, AK. So we were blessed our parents Western Union us some gas money to make it on Home! There is plenty more to the story that I could try and remember, but Memories I'll cherish and hold close to my heart and I'll NEVER forget our times together , Love You like a brother and will miss you til we meet again Bill, in Heaven with Our Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
