Obituary of Mickey Crawford

Mickey Crawford (June 10, 1972 - February 14, 2024) Mickey Crawford, born on June 10, 1972, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on February 14, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Barry Lamar Crawford, his grandfathers, Bobby Crawford and Richard Boss, and his grandmother, Pauline Boss. Mickey is survived by his wife, Kelley Crawford, his sons Taylor (Andrea Elrod) and Zachary (Abbie Compton), his adopted nephew, Noah Linzey, his mother, Leah Autry (Mike), his sister, Misty Autry, his grandmothers, Sue Crawford and Jody Autry, and his Fairy Godmother, Beverly Linzey Holland. Born in Dalton, Georgia, Mickey later moved to Chattanooga where he started his family. He cherished his family deeply, particularly his two sons, whom he was immensely proud of. Mickey enjoyed spending quality time with his sons, engaging in activities such as working on cars, fishing, and camping. A dedicated member of Local 846, Mickey worked tirelessly on numerous outages at Sequoyah and Watts Bar Nuclear plants. He found joy in his time spent at Sisters Natural Essentials, where he made many meaningful friendships that became like family to him. Known for his generous spirit, Mickey possessed a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mickey leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kevin Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
