Martin David Carter
David Carter, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 in a local healthcare facility.
He was retired from Dupont Chemical after 19 years of service and was a competitive bass fisherman, gardener and craftsman. He was of the Church of God faith.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Augusta and Zella Marie Wolfe Carter and two sisters, Linda Hughes and Gloria Long.
Survivors include his sons, Shane Carter and D. J. (Sonya) Carter, grandchildren, Gabbie, Emma, Addy, Layla, Ashley, Hannah (Tommy), and Landen, five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 30th in funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
