Obituary of Janet Ann Bell

Janet Ann Bell, 74 of Hixson passed away on October 7, 2023 at her home.
The saying, “Angels walk among us” rings true - Janet was one of those angels.
Janet was a wonderful cook and a great wife and mother. She enjoyed music and nature. Janet was a Nurse’s Assistant at Memorial North Park Hospital for many years, and was a member of Grace Pointe Assembly of God. Janet loved traveling the world with her husband, Wesley during his time in the Navy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vivian Patton, and sister, Patty Lopez.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 53 years, Wesley Bell; daughter, Maria (Chris Porter) Bell; brother, John Patton; granddaughter, Amber Bell; and great-grandsons, Javier and Xavier.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13th in the funeral home chapel with Monsignor Al Humbrecht and Pastor Terry Evans officiating. Interment will at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
