Sammy Byron Boyd
We lost Sammy Byron Boyd on September 15, 2023.
He was a retired real estate broker and proud Lakesitean who loved his family, kitties and genealogy.
The Bledsoe County native was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Blanche (Simmons) Boyd.
He leaves to treasure his memory, his wife of 25 years, Lucy; his children, Chris (Amanda) Boyd and Bridgett (Greg) Chambers; step-daughter, Ayesha (Brad) Pierce; grandchildren, Anna, Cole, Emma, Maddie, Addy, Jannah, Maryam, Ibrahim and Fatima; his sister, Linda (Mikey) Smith; the mother of his children, Elaine Boyd Osby and many loving relatives.
To honor his wishes, the family will have a private celebration of life this autumn.
