Carl William Spain, Sr., 86, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away, Friday, September 8, 2023 in a local healthcare facility.
He retired from Marshall Mize Ford where he worked as an Auto Body Technician for over 30 years. He loved spending time in his garden, spending time with his grandchildren and he was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Jessie Mae Mason Spain and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Carl W. (Stephanie) Spain and Steve F. (LeAndra) Spain, life companion, Teresa Bynum, spiritual children, Shannon (Kelly) Mull and Blaine (Lori) Morgan, grandchildren, Brandon Spain, Christa Spain, Justin (Ashton) Spain, Tiffany (Tanner) Spain, Nick (Raelynne) Spain and Jack Vineyard, 10 great-grandchildren, mother of his children, Sandra Larimer and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
