Obituary of Marjorie L. Uren

Marjorie Vandergriff Uren, 84 of Hixson, TN passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023. And now that the end is here, I lived a good life that was full. I traveled each and every highway, seen a lot and sometimes I bit off more than I could chew, but I always saw it through and did it my way. I was married to a wonderful man, Bill, for thirty years. Bill passed away June 29, 2009. I also lost my Mom and Dad, three brothers, my sister and a niece and nephew. I have three wonderful children, Donna (Ken) Smith, David Sims and Cathy (Keith) Jennings, two grandsons, Chad (Leigh) Smith and Jeremy (Mandi) Smith and four of the best great-grandchildren, Trista, Peyton, Hayden and Chase Smith and good friends that stuck by me in the good and bad times. Tell your loved ones that you love them and forgive them that hurt you. Life is too short to have regrets. I chose not to have a service. Please call or visit your loved ones when they are here, not when they are gone. If you want to do anything in my memory, please donate to your local animal shelter. To my children, please by happy for me because I can finally see my Bill and the rest of my family that I have missed so much. I love you all more than I could tell you.
