I met Dave at DuPont Chattanooga when I hired in as a spinning operator. Although I was not technically on Dave's shift I worked probably as many if not more hours on his shift as I did my own. Dave was a good supervisor and a kind man, I always aggravated him about wanting the DuPont bottle opener he had on his work keychain and upon his retirement he gave that bottle opener to me and I have it to this day. I am very sad to hear of his passing, the entire family will be in my prayers.
