I saw Donald just last week at Dollar General. we embraced, and told each other we loved each other. I'm so grateful. It made my day to see someone who always cared for me, and visa versa without a hint of malice. Thank you, Donald. You were always kind to me. I was shocked to see this. rest in peace my friend. condolences to the family.

Sorry for the family loss. You were like a brother to me when we were young. I could fill this book with our escapades. Good memories of football games at your house and summers spent together. To all of Ducks family, we are so sorry for your loss. Duck was a good & kind man. He would help his friends & family in any way he could. A few months ago a large tree fell beside my house. Duck & my son Koty came out several times cutting up the tree for me. Duck knew I couldn't afford to hire someone to cut it. So out of the kindness of his heart,, he did that for me. My son Koty loved Duck like a father. It broke his heart when he found out Duck had passed away. Duck loved Koty too. He would call Koty our Son. He will be deeply missed by Koty & me. Our thoughts & prayers to all his loved ones. We will cherish all the memories we have of Duck!

Q: How did you meet Donald?
A: I grew up with Donald and his family. At John H. Allen ballfield. I also went to church with him and his wife at New Salem. He was a very kind person. He always spoke and was so happy. I talked to him a few times last year and we were going to go eat at the Blue Restaurant (Home Folks). He was sorry that I was going through a divorce and be-friended me. We never did but just knowing he cared and was concerned meant so much. I'm so for y'all's loss.
