Obituary of Robert "Bobby" Alan Higgins

Robert “Bobby” Alan Higgins, 67, of Ringgold, GA, formerly of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 surrounded by his family. Bobby was a son of the late G.W. and Wilma Higgins. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a die-hard Vol fan. Bobby was a free spirit who was always hilarious and sarcastic. He was the best at cracking jokes and enjoyed making others laugh. Bobby loved his family and was extremely close to his father who he eventually followed in his footsteps, becoming a floor coverer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Higgins. He is survived by his wife, Karen Moon; his “one and only’ daughter, Shea Higgins (Josh) Eymard; granddaughters, Layla and Kiara “Bobert”; stepchildren, Billy, Starla, and Tisha; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce McRee and brother, Bill Higgins and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with his daughter, Shea Higgins Eymard officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
