Obituary of Tommy E. Smith

Tommy Eugene Smith, 88, of Hixson TN passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in a local healthcare facility.
He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jo Ann Smith and many extended family members.
Survivors include his son, Aaron (Alecia) Smith, granddaughter, Sam Smith and brothers, Billy Smith and Ronnie Smith and a host of family members.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, February 17th, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Rogers officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17th, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
