Obituary of Bobby Ray Cannon

Bobby Ray “Papaw” Cannon, 83, of Harrison went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 10, 2023. He was formerly a supervisor at C.F. Industries. He was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and went on several mission trips to Jamaica sharing God’s word with the people. He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Josephine Long Cannon and his loving and dedicated wife of 47 years, Shirley Ann Kerr Cannon. He was also preceded in death by his brother Troy Cannon. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Brian (Tina) Cannon; daughters, Robin (David) Massengill and Valerie (Jeff) Neely; sister, Brenda (Don) Linginfelter; the Grands, Mariah (Cordaro) Cummings and Bryce Neely; the Great-Grand, Noah Cummings, and several extended family members. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 Tuesday, February 14th in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Officiating is Pastor Chad Chandler. There will be no visitation.
