Q: How did you meet Diane?
A: I met Diane when she volunteered in my first grade classroom at Myakka City Elementary. She would read with my littles and worked with some of my low students who just needed a little more time. She always loved working with my ESOL students. She would always laugh because some of those students started talking with her New York accent. The students always looked to her as a grandma figure. She will be missed and she was very loved by me and the students in my class.
